Sustainable Mining

Existing mining practices cause large scale environmental damage, including habitat destruction and deforestation, much of which occurs before the mining has even begun. Further issues around mining cause extensive damage, from which the environment may never recover. We are creating usable, high-grade alternatives for use as raw materials and fossil fuel replacements, either through utilising waste as a feedstock or through the use of other material streams. Not only is this a circular economy, but it also significantly reduces the carbon footprint and environmental damage caused through existing processes. Collaborating with industry experts helps to drive this forward.

Using the Converter technology, we are mining in different material streams to create a high-grade flock, which is used in different industries depending on it’s origins

Industry partners collaborate to help to provide sustainable solutions to some of the challenges presented by waste management, whilst also providing renewable alternatives to both the energy and manufacturing sectors

This collaboration also helps identify new material streams, further pushing boundaries on what is possible

The process is considered sustainable as some of the material streams in focus are non-virgin & are considered unrecyclable

The modular nature of the technology allows for scale to be achieved with minimal risk to the overall project. The process is batch fed and cycles are complete in 30 minutes
