Fuel Cleansing

Fuel Cleansing

The chemical composition of some feedstock materials can be an issue. Examples include moisture content, calorific value and the physical consistency of the material. We extract these limiting and harmful chemicals, whilst creating a consistent and homogenous flock fibre as a final product. The moisture content, calorific value and consistency meet industry requirements, creating certainty and reliability around the product as an SRF or as a raw material. We are therefore adding value to feedstock materials that are readily available but aren’t currently suitable for fuel or other areas. We are also enhancing the material for existing processes and practices.

The chemical extraction is focussed around removing the limiting and harmful chemicals from the flock

Processing the material through the Converter not only produces a higher grade fuel, but allows for a wider range of feedstock material to be used, as the harmful or restricting chemicals have been extracted

We are collaborating with industry experts in the agricultural sector to produce more sustainable green-fuels, starting with the cleansing of material used for the biomass and cement industries

Further, we are working with other experts in the fuels sector to develop high grade RDF & SRF materials through the cleansing of the feedstock, and the removal of other restrictive chemicals such as chlorine and nitrogen

The mission is to cleanse a range of feedstock material to provide higher grade alternatives to fossil fuels

The vision is to one day render coal obsolete by creating a material with a higher calorific value, meaning we have created a newer, more sustainable alternative that actually gives more ‘bang for it’s buck’
